Attempted Coup d'état, Philippines - 27 July 2003 - Photographs

I strolled down to have a look at the attempted coup d'état, because, c'mon, how often does a coup attempt come to town, and before I realized it, I was in the middle of the whole thing.  Dodging trip wires rigged to bombs, sitting next to the bombs, rubbing shoulders with machine gun toting rebels, climbing over armored personnel carriers--it was all in a days 'work.'
