About Roger J. Starkey.com

Roger J. Starkey.com began life as Roger Starkey.com, a website primarily created to distribute my travel photographs and writing to friends and family.  Life is no longer that simple.

The website is now a wee bit more professional, showcasing my published writing as well as displaying my photography.  Because I let my rights to rogerstarkey.com lapse, I now have a J in my cyber address.

I recently launched Below 15º North, a South American travel blog.  If you're interested in South American travel, culture and current event stories, have a look.  I strive to make the blog more professional than the average travel blog, I hope you'll enjoy it.

(Auto)Bio:  I received an undergraduate degree in Marketing, and floundered around the world of Sports Marketing for a couple of years before moving to the business world.  After stints with an American consulting company in Chicago, Ireland and Spain, I decided to take a break from the business world to work as an unpaid writer/author in the Philippines.  After a quick diversion back into Information System consulting, this time in St. Louis, Missouri, I have landed another gig as an upaid writer type.  I now suck my retirement funds dry from Santiago, Chile.
